My point is that he’s somewhat underappreciated, hes obviously well known and people fw him and shit but I feel like it just needs to be said that Q has put out a lot of great music and is a super fucking solid rapper.
Habits & Contradictions has one of the best first five song stretches in rap album history imo. I mean seriously, Sacrilegious just hits, There He Go is what I’d call his “I Don’t Like moment,” meaning it just sums up his music and attitude and persona all in one fucking fire-ass banger of a song. Hands on the Wheel and Sex Drive are both amazing late-night after party type vibe songs. Oxy Music is hard af too. And that’s not even it for the album, plenty of other great songs there too. Plus I think of Oxymoron as his masterpiece.
